As one of the largest stockists of Mac equipment on the rental market, ITR are well placed to assist with even the largest and most complicated of customer requests. We have recently been tasked with providing a a full suite of high spec MacBook Pro’s for a high profile media event. We supplied a mix of 17″ Core i5 and Core i7 models which were specifically configured to the customers needs. For large jobs that require a bespoke software install, we are able to create an image to be ghosted onto all machines ensuring all units have exactly the same set up. As well as an array of software needs; including Mac Office, Adobe Creative Suite, iWorks, Final Cut Pro and specialist music production software such as Cubase, Ableton and Audacity, the customer was also looking to have desktops and screens savers loaded to advertise the event, which of course we could oblige them with. The MacBook’s were to be used in a number of locations where users would need to be able to access some or all of the programmes listed above so to make things easier for our client, all content was loaded onto all 30 machines so they could be used in all settings and it would cause any issues if the machines were moved around the venue during the event.
