Having previously successfully completed the furniture installation at Berkeley Group's Farnham Royal office, Hunts were very proud to be asked to specify and supply furniture for Berkeley Groups refurbishment of their prestigious Head Office at Portsmouth Road, Cobham, Surrey.
Managing Director, Egon Hunt, personally oversaw the project, and worked closely with Berkeleys interior consultants Hunter Designs, and the fit out contractor, Morgan Sindall Group to ensure the perfect combination of style and durability was delivered on time and on budget.
For the open plan areas on the first and second floors, Frame One bench desking from Steelcase with centred screens was specified. Frame One provides workstations that are light and refined. They also allow the user to create differentiated workspaces that support more effective ways that users can work. This bench desk range offers an integrated sliding top, integrated cable management and can also be associated to work tools, lighting, screens and technology to meet all users’ needs.
Steelcase Universal Storage Cupboards were also chosen to match. These are a great for space planning, and allow countless options to optimise available space with this flexible storage solutions system. It can be used to store documents and work tools.
The chairs chosen were Zephyr Lights Mesh Chairs from Okamura, which have been recognised worldwide for their design functionality, comfort and beautiful form.
The Zephyr Light Mesh Chair offers organically shaped designs that have been inspired by the smooth curves of nature. This soothing chair design form brings relaxation and a calm atmosphere to the office workplace.
They also chose Flow chairs from Verco. This is a task chair with an excellent design, clean lines which fit easily into an executive office. It offers comfort for the user with its designer back, armrest and seat combination.
Ego desks by Sinetica were installed to the ground floor along with some bespoke pieces to create a stunning executive look and feel in the directors area. Ego Veneer Executive Desks enhance any office, but add a special touch of quality and style to the directors desk positions.
Installed over 5 days, we were delighted to deliver a furniture solution to enhance this beautiful office environment.
