London's Flood Expo Exhibition a Huge Success for Huddersfield-Based Andel

Huddersfield-based Andel, the UK’s leading designer and manufacturer of specialised leak detection and environmental protection systems for industry and utility providers, has reported a huge success from its attendance at last week’s global flood defence industry exhibition at ExCeL, London. At the event, the company launched its revamped ReBund Flood Defence retro-fittable, modular, demountable and permanent flood defence product. The original version of ReBund is already tried and tested, protecting electricity sub stations in many nationwide installations. It has now been adapted for use in any environment, ranging from domestic to industrial premises. Andel’s Commercial Director, Mark Harris said" We are very pleased with the response we received for our latest specialist product innovations. We took enquiries worth over £2m from Government departments, public utilities, insurance companies‎ and commercial organisations. We even had enquiries from sailing clubs, pubs and individual householders". “Visitors to our stand were very impressed with the cost, unobtrusive appearance, speed of installation and green credentials demonstrated by the range of products we were showcasing," he added
