21-09-2018

Huddersfield based, Andel, has secured a prestigious national contract with Telefonica to install water leak detection systems in 16 of its technical sites across the UK. The £200,000 tender will see the manufacturer install its FLOODLINE™ leak detection systems in buildings to allow early action to prevent damage, reduce disruption and limit loss. The win completes a year of success for the manufacturer which also saw it celebrate 25 years in business. Commercial Director, Mark Harris, said: ‘We are delighted to have won this contract with such a prestigious global telecommunications company. ‘We’re looking forward to working with Telefonica to carry out a total upgrade of their systems.’ The TEF UK rep, Simon Wedd, said: ‘We appointed Andel because of their expertise and in-depth knowledge of all aspects relating to leak detection and we are very confident of their ability to perform on this project. ‘We will be able to keep all 16 sites operational whilst carrying out the work which is critical to ensuring the network continues to function effectively and customers can still use their mobile phones.’
