Repairing cigarette burns by pile replacement and a feather & trim technique to take out light scorch marks caused by hair straighteners etc. Course will cover: Installation knowledge -  What to look for in every repair. Commercial glue down vs stretch fitted domestics. Gripper rods, different doorbars, glues, backing structures and how construction is formed. Hands-on training - carpet samples will be provided to each attendee. Seaming, including Traditional Hot Iron Heat Seaming, Wet Latex Seaming and Repair.

Carpet restretching - demonstration on stretch fitting and how to competently use a knee kicker. Each attendee will receive a Tool Kit with essentials to tackle repairs, a Manual which will be an invaluable source of reference when tackling jobs together with a Certificate of Attendance.   Lunch, together with refreshments throughout the day, will also be provided.   Places are strictly limited.
