Pot Magnets with Threaded Through Hole
DescriptionBuy Threaded Through Hole online with Bunting – eMagnets™The Pot Magnet with Threaded Through Hole Mounting consists of a steel disc with a ring milled out for a ring magnet to be inserted plus a tapped through hole to allow a M4, M6 or M8 threaded bar or bolt to be screwed through. The design is compact and extremely robust. The through hole allows the possibility of a bolt or threaded bar to be screwed past the magnet face to prise the Pot Magnet with Threaded Through Hole Mounting away from the structure to which it is magnetically held against. The Pot Magnet with Threaded Through Hole Mounting uses ferrite magnets and the steel casing is zinc or chrome plated for corrosion protection. The ferrite Pot Magnet can be used up to +180 degrees C but may start to show some signs of weakening (demagnetisation) when used in sub-zero conditions e.g. -10 to -20 deg C but the actual design and application determines at what temperature demagnetisation may be noticed. We also offer a Pot Magnet with Threaded Through Hole Mounting with a Stainless Steel (SS304) casing. This does not require any plating and is naturally corrosion resistant. The Pot Magnet with Threaded Through Hole Mounting range exists in 25mm to 80mm diameter size with maximum pull forces from 3.6kg up to 55kg.It is possible to produce customer specific Pot Magnets with Threaded Through Hole Mounting – we can give you a price upon request although a minimum order quantity may exist. We also have an extended range of Pot Magnets in brochure format which we can send upon request (minimum order quantities would also apply).
