The waxed tissue paper is a lightweight paper which is ideal for handling bakery items. This grade of waxed tissue paper does not have any moisture barrier properties therefore would not be suitable for wrapping fish or meat. The white semi transparent waxed paper has the same properties as the white waxed paper but being semi-transparent means the wrapped food item will be partially visible through the paper. It is available in two base papers, a 45gsm or a 60gsm.
