Contained in one box of tiles are 6 individual tiles.
Each acoustic tile is sized 595mm by 595mm.
The tiles are 3 1/4" (79mm) thick.
One box of tiles will cover an area of 2.16sqm.
The tiles are precision cut and on average will absorb 95% of the sound waves.
These acoustic tiles are available in either Mid Grey or Dark Grey.
What Are The Benefits?
The Tegular Suspended Ceiling Acoustic Tile is the suspended ceiling version of the Tegular Acoustic Tile. These tiles are designed to sit straight onto existing suspended ceiling grids to replace standard suspended ceiling tiles. The design of these tiles might look simple enough but don't underestimate the effectiveness that these acoustic tiles have to offer.
The standard tiles used in a suspended ceiling grid offer only limited control of sound waves. By using the Tegular Suspended Ceiling Tiles you can simply and easily upgrade your current suspended ceiling without having to rip out a perfectly good suspended ceiling grid. These acoustic studio foam tiles work hard at controlling mid to high frequencies to help remove echo and control reverberation.
Care is taken in optimising size, profile, foam cell structure and foam density to present a product that offers high visual and acoustic value. Durability is high on our list of priorities too, we manufacture a foam that won't crumble and turn to dust and won't change colour as soon as you've mounted them to the wall or ceiling. Please Note: Each box of tiles weighs 12kg. It is the responsibility of the installer to ensure the existing grid system can support the additional weight. Additional suspended ceiling wires may be required.
